JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN:
Must be able to perform the following:
-Wide range of assembly & test requirements according to specifications using hand tools, power tools, precision instruments and test equipment including but not limited to: Bearing Staking, Bearing Swaging, Bushing Installation, Electrical Bond Testing, Functional Testing, Mechanical Assembly, Riveting and Sealing.
-Read and interpret blue prints and specifications to determine assembly sequence, tooling requirements, measurements and allowable tolerances.
-Measure parts to verify dimensions using precision instruments, such as micrometers, calipers and height gauges.
-Assemble parts and fittings such as hinges, brackets, clips nutplates; install bolts, screws, rivets and other fasteners; install bushings and bearings; install helicoils and other threaded inserts.
-Bond parts together with adhesives and application of sealants such as fay surface sealing and fillet sealing.
Qualifications:
-3+ years of aerospace experience desired
-Efficient and quality oriented
-Work effectively in a team oriented environment
-Knowledgeable in assembly process
-Good blueprint reading and interpretation skills
